Make Your Own Clutch Bag March 2, 2025, Washington, DC
Clutch Class is back, and this time you pick the leather color, and design your own flap! Come learn to make leather goods and create your own vegetable tanned leather clutch bag.
In this single day workshop, you will make adjustments to an existing pattern, cut, and stitch your own envelope style clutch bag with an optional wrist strap and a snap closure.
This workshop will take place at Amend and Adapt Studios in Brookland, NE washington DC from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Most students will finish their projects during the workshop; if it looks like you are not going to finish during class time, we will get you prepped to finish at home.
You will need to provide your own leather for this workshop!!!
You will supply a leather project panel in 3.5oz to 5oz oz weight vegetable tanned leather, in at least a size 11” x 18” (if you want a smaller or larger clutch, size down or up). If you need help sourcing your leather, reach out to Katie and she can help you get the right panel for your project.
