By placing an order with us, you will be understood to have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these terms, then you should contact Stitch & Rivet before placing an order with us either by email or via postal mail at

By placing an order through this website, you agree to purchase the goods detailed in your order under the described terms.
Once you have placed an order for a product, we will confirm that it has been received via your email address. If you need to update your email address or shipping address, you must email us before your order ships. When your order ships, we will provide you with a valid tracking number via our shipping software (Shippo or something similar). We are NOT RESPONSIBLE for orders shipped to incorrect addresses or items stolen after delivery. Please email us for signature delivery before placing your order if package theft is a concern in your area.
We cannot complete orders due to, but not limited to, the following reasons:
The product you ordered is unavailable in stock
We are unable to authorize your payment through our payment processor
If we have made errors in pricing or descriptions in our listings
If you fail to meet the criteria for shipping, for example, you are not located within the United States
You have previously attempted to return products that are not eligible for return or otherwise misrepresented yourself in a previous transaction
If your transaction is flagged as “suspicious” by our payment processor.
If there are any problems with your order, Stitch & Rivet will contact you as soon as the issue is noticed. We reserve the right to reject any offer of purchase by you at any time. Stitch & Rivet, LLC will make every effort to keep the details of your order and payment secure. Still, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third-party service provider of ours (not limited to payment processors, shipping software, or website service providers) accesses any data you provide when ordering from Stitch & Rivet. Product Pricing & Descriptions
Each product or service listed for sale on our website is subject to its product description. We'll make all reasonable efforts to make sure that all details, descriptions, and prices of products listed on our website are correct and any updates are made promptly. Someone will email you if a product is unavailable as described in the listing. We reserve the right to update, remove, or edit any listing on the website at any time and for any reason. Please see our Policies page for our full refund and exchange policies.
Payments and Taxes
All prices in listings are exclusive of sales tax. Any sales taxes we must collect are automatically added before the checkout. Some states and municipalities require consumers to report and remit sales taxes for online orders. For orders under this requirement, the buyer agrees to remit all appropriate taxes to their municipality. All cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer and the payment processor. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorize payment to us, we will not be liable for any delays or canceled orders for non-payment.
To be eligible to purchase products on this website, you must:
Provide your real name, phone number, e-mail address, payment details, and other requested information
Provide an accurate shipping address
Provide a valid form of payment acceptable to our checkout provider (Stripe, PayPal)
By placing an order, you expressly authorize us to transmit information (including any updated information) or to obtain information about you to and from third parties, including but not limited to your debit or credit card number, billing address, and other items of personal information to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to complete a transaction, to ship and order, and to remit required taxes.
Returns and Cancelations:
Tickets or deposits for services (not limited to workshops, classes, stamping events) are non-refundable. However, they may be transferred from you to another party. A service is only refundable if Stitch & Rivet cancels a service or workshop.
We will try to cancel retail items until they have shipped or, in the case of made-to-order items, until they are cut (generally 2-3 days). If you wish to cancel an order, you must email us your order number. If your item has shipped, it is subject to the returns and exchanges policies below.
”Pre-order” bags are subject to a 20% restocking fee for any returns or cancellations.
Product Returns and exchanges are available for full-price retail product orders within three (3) days of delivery.
Items purchased from late November through December as holiday gifts have an extended exchange timeframe. All exchanges must be completed by January 15th. Items for holiday exchange must be unused, and personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged, with no exceptions.
No exchanges, refunds, or cancellations are allowed on customized, personalized, second sales, flash sales, discounted items, or gift cards/e-gift cards/gift certificates.
”Pre-order” bags are subject to a 20% restocking fee for any returns or cancellations.
The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with a return or exchange, which must include a tracking number. Please let us know if you want us to email you a label and deduct the cost from your return.
Due to the handmade nature of our products, we do not offer returns or exchanges on used or unsaleable products.
If a product is not in perfect unused condition, it will not be accepted for return and will be shipped back to the customer at their cost.
Once returned to S&R, the item will be refunded less the actual initial shipping costs and a 3.75% transaction fee that card processing companies charge us, and they do not refund us.
Please email us if you are making a return or exchange so we know your package is on its way.
Please include your order number and address on the note inside your return or exchange.
